This dessert is not overwhelmingly sweet. It is nice and fluffy and a great addition to any meal. Since it is a refrigerated dessert, it gives it a refreshing aspect as well. Its contents give this mousse a delicious creamy texture that stimulates every taste bud.
This recipe serves 12 cups.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup Deca & Otto Dulce de Leche
2 cups heavy cream
4 egg whites
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Garnish shavings (chocolate, almonds, coconut, etc.) - optional
INSTRUCTIONS

Beat the egg whites until they start getting stiff. Add the powdered sugar and continue beating until you have soft peaks. Then refrigerate.
In a different bowl, beat the cream. Continue beating until cream stiffens. Add the Deca & Otto Dulce de Leche and beat until thick and soft peaks form.

Carefully fold in the stiffened egg whites into the beaten cream. Spoon the mix into individual bowls. Cover loosely with plastic and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with desired enhancer (shaved chocolate, almonds, coconut or drizzled Deca & Otto Dulce de Leche) and serve.
